As portions of John Hancock’s headquarters were renovated, the interior environment required a cohesive branding and wayfinding system that could reinforce identity while integrating seamlessly with updated architectural spaces. The objective was to create clarity and continuity across shared areas while maintaining a refined and composed workplace atmosphere.

Bailey Sign delivered a comprehensive environmental branding and signage package that included custom directional and identity signage, UV printed panels, halo illuminated channel letters, and integrated graphics throughout the renovated areas. Each element was fabricated as part of a unified system, with careful attention to scale, finish, and alignment to ensure consistency across corridors, decision points, and vertical circulation zones.

The halo illuminated channel letters introduce a subtle dimensional presence, using indirect light to separate letterforms from surrounding surfaces without overpowering the space. Illumination levels were carefully controlled to provide legibility and emphasis while remaining appropriate for an interior corporate environment. UV printed panels and graphics extend the brand language across walls and circulation paths, supporting orientation and visual continuity.

A defining feature of the project is a custom fabricated wood fin wall installed at the elevator bank. This architectural element adds warmth and texture while organizing movement and arrival within the space. Rather than serving as decoration alone, the wood fin installation reinforces identity and enhances the spatial experience at a key point of transition.

Fabrication decisions emphasized precision, material quality, and long term performance suitable for a high use corporate setting. The resulting system supports navigation, strengthens brand presence, and contributes to an interior environment that feels intentional, integrated, and architecturally resolved.
